I feel I should mention, this is a very self indulgent post – it has nothing to do with being a mother, or my child. In fact, the only tenuous link I can find is pre-baby, working 37 hours a week, I could afford these lovely things. And now, going to work for 11 – I can’t – my son is  my timekeeper 😊

Anyway, anyone who knows me knows I love watches! It’s a bit of an obsession, I find myself wasting hours online looking at watches, trawl eBay for watch bargains, and even get watch envy when I catch a glimpse of someone with an amazing watch passing by. I’d like to say I’ve a huge collection of weird and wonderful watches but, sadly, I don’t! In fact I only have a few – mainly because I keep selling them to fund new ones…

With this in mind, it only seemed fitting to have a ‘Watch Wishlist’, there are so many new designs that I want/nay need at the minute!

Here’s my top 5…

Apple Watch

I’ve been in two minds about the Apple Watch since its first launch. I’m a big apple fan, I have the iPhone and MacBook so it would fit in well with me. There’s no denying the features would be extremely handy, and it is athestically pleasing.

But, for me, I’m not sure if it’s ‘watch’ enough, with that and the price, I’m still undecided. So although it’s on my top five it’s in 5th position.

Kate Spade

Kate Spade is a New York make and I love her watches, they’re very fun and quirky. This one is my favourite in her collection, I particularly love the stripy blue second hand.

At £179 it’s not the cheapest, and I’d probably wear this for going out, not everyday use which is why it’s a firm, but fair 4 on the wishlist!

Olivia Burton Butterfly

I’ve only just stumbled upon London watch brand Olivia Burton and I don’t know where I’ve been! This was a very hard choice as I absolutely love all of them. I’ve gone with the gorgeous blue butterfly on gold back for my number 3.

The only thing stopping this watch being bumped up is the strap – I’d prefer it in blue to go with the butterfly and my coat and bag!

Fossil watches have always been a firm favourite of mine and I’ve had quite a few. One of my most prized possessions is the watch I currently wear which is a Fossil boyfriend style, with light blue face which I bought from Macy’s in New York.

I love the simply elegance of this one from the Jacqueline collection, the Roman numerals and navy blue colour. It’s gets my number 2 slot.

Olivia Burton

Told you I loved all Olivia Burton watches! What can I say about this 😍 I absolutely adore it. Inspired by the English countryside it has a delightful hummingbird and is very much a statement piece. I love the raised ‘Olivia Burton’ name and brushed rose gold background. In fact, the photo doesn’t do it justice. The strap is interchangeable, can be embossed and it’s only £80! Well deserved, I must have it someday, number one!

Do you have a watch obsession like me, or have seen any great watches which might have slipped under my radar?! I’d love to see!

  1. I love the Kate Spade watch you’ve picked, that’s lovely. I’ve been eyeing up the Apple Watch too as I quite like the idea of having a watch to match my MacBook and iPhone.

Thank you so much for taking part in your first linky with #TheWishlistLinky.
